Why I joined the Team at IT Events Australia

Community is at the heart of how I approach all that I do in this industry. I believe that by working together, we can build a stronger and more resilient IT industry. And the way to do that is by getting out into the industry, getting involved in our community of peers, and networking. Through forging those relationships, we can spark amazing ideas to develop ourselves professionally, our businesses, and our wider industry.
When David called me to discuss IT Events Australia and building a resource for our industry, to help the community come together, I leapt at the chance to get involved!
So, where to from here?
David has shared some of our future goals and ideas in his blog post, and yes, there are many more in the works. This is a passion project, an initiative that requires the community to get behind. We need event organisers to share their events with us, and attendees to view the events on our website. Most importantly, we need feedback from you, our community, our peers, about what you need in this industry resource, built by industry members, for our IT industry to come together.
